February 08 - theme "MACRO"

New month new contest!

Theme:
As we all know, Ricoh cameras are extremely good macro performers. So theme for this month is "MACRO".
Macro is probably not everyone's favorite subject. But I'm sure, almost everybody did one or two macros? So show us your best one!

Rules:
You may post one photo right in reply to this post. Please, do not link them from other sites! Use the "Upload Attachment" instead.
Contest photo must be taken with Ricoh digital camera (whichever you use)!
The max size of the photo is limited to 1024x768 and the file must contain EXIF!
The deadline for posting contest photos is 29.2.2008 at 12PM forum time

Awards:
The first place (chosen by forumers via contest poll early next month) will be awarded by software license according of winner's choice. For this month, we can provide these programs (kindly provided by Mediachance) - Dynamic Photo HDR, PhotoBrush, DCE AutoEnhance, Pure Image NR.

Stumbled upon a glassworker in Kanazawa, Japan. Stooped in the corner of a traditional wooden house, he sat painstakingly making little trinket-baubles for women's hair-clips, kimono buckles etc. His work positively glistened in the light. Enjoy...

Un cropped image straight out of a GX100. The fly was sunning itself and kept returning to the same spot when I disturbed it. I set to manual focus and just waited for it to come back, then took the shot.
