I have been picking over the bones of my street shotss and hve come up with these so far. Don't know how many i am allowed, nor sizes. I'd like to have a nice screen there for a rolling view.

So, if you had to pick, say 10? What resonates with you?
cheers

These are the ones that gel with me.
I looked at them all and chose these 10 purely from my emotional response.

It will be interesting to see what others like...
What is the criteria you have been asked for? or is it just choose yourself?

Re: Exhibition Choics

Pete, I actually spent over an hour doing an edit and sequence. It's a fine show but I would like to know how many your doing so I can send you the list. I don't want to edit out for no reason.

If you get any control of the exhibition, it would be very good to vary the sizes on some of the shots.
Let me know....don

Cheers guys. I am off to the gallery this morning to have a look at the temporary exhibition rooms, to see the size, the light, the atmosphere, hanging facilities etc. ideally, I think I would like one really large piece, something really punchy in emotional terms (Marc?) and a couple of other large'ish ones......like the stogie smoker, the clappy hands buskers shot, kiss look hurry by. Then a nice cluster of mixed A4 and A3 sizes. I quite like the idea of a rolling show on an LCD Screen

They were also interested in my night city'scapes, but I reckon it would jarr.....probably. I love both genres for different reasons, but street for me is the emotional must.

Will be interesting to see what I can squeeze out of the M6/Zeiss 21mm combo. I had a couple of films back, but need to get the negs scanned. From what I see so far, I think the combo is gonna be a great tool. The depth is astonishing, lovely contrasts and tones. I did some colour work on the London Underfround network and colours look fantastic to me. My b/w roll has beautiful creamy tones. I just need to get a 21mm view finder to give me confidence in my framing....I just ain't getting close enough.

Zone focus @ f8 2mtrs will be great when I do get in close. Gives me plenty of latitude. Last thing i wanna do with old shaky paw is try and focus. I have another couple of films to come back, I may be closer with these.

I have had handling issues, but I find that with the neck strap shortened and pulling the camera hard away from my neck til the strap is taught....it gives me a sec or two to shoot. Surprisingly, I can hip shoot with it and wind on one handed.

Don, I appreciate your effort and time, really!

Tim, like your choices......but surprised Buskers 3 with clappy hands didn't make it.

Once again, cheers guys.
