I was out again recently with the GR, grabbed the first image on the way home yesterday - I loved the reeds and water against the sky.

The other 3 images were taken this evening when I went to collect my wife from the train station, I held the camera against a pillar / rested it on a railing and all images taken at 800iso using the 2 sec delayed timer.

Great high ISO performance and the timer technique is a good one. Did you have to do much to correct the colour cast from the lights?

Richard

Hi Richard,

CS corrected the colour easily so no issues with colour casts.

I do only shoot in RAW so that works better from me than JPEG - superb camera

Thanks Arkadius,

You will not be dissapointed - its capabilities far exceed its appearance and it is a very unassuming camera to use in public so draws minimal attention.

I look forward to seeing your images with it and hope time flies between noe and its arrival. :D

Yes, I most certainly will be posting my first images here, I also have a few days away to look forward to.

How do you find the GR in low light Iansky? I have been looking on the ricoh gr flickr page, it seems to bring out some awesome images :)
