My laptop screen cannot do this image justice! BTW, I have the 3 book series by Ansel Adams (The Camera, The Negative and The Print). This past week while home I began reading The Negative which goes in to depth on understanding the Zone System. Its not a book for casual reading just as your image above takes time to study. :ugeek:

Very dark! We share an interest in pressure zones too. This is a great shot...the dark sea horizon interrupted by the breaking wave is very powerful.

I know is a really difficult shot to see if the monitor is not perfectly calibrated...I am right now having a look from my PC in the office and I could not be able to comment from here...

Genster, Pete, thanks for your comments. Pete, it took me a long time to decide how much I wanted to enter into zone 0...still have my doubts if I should have entered even more...maybe next one...
