My CX6 has a low level buzz constantly as if a motor is seeking centre somewhere. It works perfectly well but I wonder if something is amiss.

I wonder if its the same as my OM-D has a low level hum?, which has been explained as the Image stabilizer working.
Apparently it hums even if IS is turned off in the menu. The OM-D hum phenomenon has been mentioned in various forums.
I can only hear the hum in the most quiet of conditions. Its almost better described as a hiss.
Is it loud?
Your hum or buzz may be nothing to do with this, but its possible the cause is the same??
A google search yields little. Maybe check with Ricoh service.
