Thanks to the current El Nino, the warmest January on record (and in the statistically coldest week of the year last week) here in Seattle is already bringing the first Crocus flowers of Spring out from their slumber - hopefully to survive what Old Man Winter may yet hold in store before the Spring.
Perhaps you might like this beautifully lit Crocus that I was lucky enough to glimpse one late Spring afternoon with my Panasonic DMC-FZ30 [ISO=80, F=2.8, Ts=1/30, EV(ref. ISO 100) = 8.23]. Processed with DxO Optics Pro 6.12 (using the DxO DMC-FZ30 JPG Module), re-sampled with XnView, Unsharp Masked and JPG converted with PSP9.
