Contrails or Chemtrails

This last year it appears we've been seeing more contrails (trails of vapor mists from jet planes). While these sometimes can be photogenic and an interesting background in a photo, there have been rumors that some of these might be connected to large-scale "geo-engineering" tests (or even worse). IAC, here are two of my contributions - anyone is welcome to add their shots here. Let us know what you've seen/heard. I think that in the case of my photos, they look innocent...

From my perspective (a professional meteorologist, and long-time amateur astronomer and photographer), the "chemtrails" are the same nonsense as the end of the world. Please note that I do not claim that all the contrails are "natural" - in some countries (such as China, Russia, and elsewhere) certain groups are experimenting with "cloud seeding", but those experiments result in quite different appearance of what happens in clouds than the contrails. 99.999999999999999999999999% of all contrails can be explained by natural processes, which are occasionally somewhat complex and uneasy to explain to people without deeper meteorological background. Thanks Martin and Andy. Martin, I hope you are right. We know that there are dubious deeds being done all the time in the name of "national/global interests". Let's hope that if geo-engineering is being tested, that it is being done transparently.
