Yes, autumn (winter?) is finally here....you can see it in the skies.

As I sit here in the dark at 0730 with sleet striking the window carried by strong northerly winds I long for your version of winter! #2 is a classic shot. The clouds are a definite bonus for landscape photography. So is daylight...sunrise here today is 0839 with sunset at 1535 - roll-on the solstice!

Great work, quester, with nice flora complements to the clouds in ## 2 and 3.
The lack of sunlight in the winters is nothing I would enjoy either. Northern tribes could complain even more. Imagine extreme 6 months without the Sun...

Thanks for looking and the comments, folks!
About sun and darkness - although summers are unbearable here without air conditioning, and winters are very dry, for me this is still preferable over the long, dark and wet winter months of more northern latitudes. I can always get a taste of rain and cold further north in the country. It's great to be able to be outdoors all year round without excessive layering...
