Today I made some pictures at the National Monument Camp Vught (Concentration camp) with my Nikon D90 and 28mm Vivitar MF lens:

I sit here now with tears in my eyes  - need I say more...

BTW, I never commented on your first concentration camp pics from Poland because I felt I couldn't find the right words, but today, I just had to say something after these pictures.

Hi Athena,
Thanks for your reply.
The atrocities that here (and in other camps) have occurred, may (in my opinion) never be forgotten.
Life is (unfortunately) not only fun, we are now (with the drama in Norway) again confronted with it, in a very painful way.

I agree, Genster, we have to remember these atrocities to learn from history and prevent that it will repeat itself. And the drama in Norway reminds us in a cruel way that such things can happen all the time.
BTW: Like Athena, I did not reply to the Auschwitz post because I found it hard to find the right words (I visited the place in the early 1980s and way deeply impressed and stirred).
Best regards, Gerd

Thanks for the reply Gerd. Sometimes people are bizarre creatures... :(
