Brighton night with the GR

We went to Brighton for a couple of days and I took the GR to use for some night shots when I did not want to carry the big heavy D3s around.

Here are some of the images with this small superb camera - self timer and placed on appropriate solid objects when I could find them.

Sorry, this is image heavy but so pleased with the results that I wanted to share (the full size Tiffs look stunning).

With the GR having a fixed lens, I am very much governed by subject matter, site to capture the image from and the perspective distortion the two previous factors will create.

I must admit that the lens on the GR is superb and not prone to excessive distortion so any issues are minor and easily corrected in processing.

The Ricoh GR is a stunning camera that very little is heard about outside forums such as these, many are not familiar with it and it is very much a niche camera - one that delivers stunning IQ though.
