Well, I posted some picts on different forums. Her one can post pict taken with other cameras then Ricoh. Not everybody remembers this. I do.
The story behind. I was vagabonding in Southamerica, my camera was Rollei35 and nothing else. After coming to "civilization" I got developed some rolls and one or two of them were run twice through the camera without me knowing it. Here`s one of the better mistakes. Life is a chance. Colombia Bogota 1973.

A great story and honest of you to admit that this was a lucky accident rather than a creative masterstroke - still a good image of course. The Rollei 35 was a great little camera - I vaguely recollect a picture of our Queen using one (QE2).

Richard, the Quieenie meeni got, if not,me humble mistaken, the gold plated lizard skin edition for sure. I`d love to have it but then who are we humble subjects. Mine was original german edition zeiss tessar 40/3.5 and so on. Now I still have simi box but with sonnar 40/2.8 lens, A beauty. Rollei 356 is mother of all compacts. Loved it a much. Stanislaw

Stanislaw,

I think QE2 had a gold plated 35s although there were various more exotic models (with reptile skin coverings - what, no carbon fibre??). This was a fantastic camera and I bet you still wished you owned it - I wish I still had some of my old cameras however I find the GRD4 still has that spirit.

Richard

PS - clearly no levelling device

Richard.
One must say she certainly looks stylish, your Queen. Wonder at what occasion the picture was taken, Ascot perhaps ( hats )? Insofar I remember the leica boys regaled her with monogrammed M3 which didn`t fit her at all. Gold plated lizard skinned Rollei 35 is indefinitely much more chic for a lady.
Well, unless you play with tough boys when you have to stick to big guns ;)
