Birds

Thank you my friend. This lens is an absolute (expensive) diamond. Fantastic quality which takes me to another level. These are all hand held shots. The 4 stop image stability and f2.8 at all focal lengths defeats my Parkinson's tremor for just enough time to get the shot. Man, it is heavy too. You know all about it when it is around your neck for hours.

I can imagine Peter, but as you said it is something of another level... The bokeh is superlative... I saw pictures like the #3 only on the best nature magazines ... Again congratulations my friend.

Great photos Peter. The last one is my favorite (but only because I rather had seen the other photos with some extra color added -especially #1 and #2-, but that is personally of course) .
Well done and thanks for sharing!

great series, the sharpness is very good.

3-4-5 are my favo's, I'd rather see them with a little less color, but it's taste. ;)

A perfect set Pete. Sharp birds, pleasant bokeh, colors looking appropriate here. Everything is just great.

Peter

A lady chaffinch? (what's this bird?). #3 my favourite (from an excellent set) - something to do with the beak and the looking down pose.

Excellent pics indeed! These are just lovely - what cute little birds. You did a very good job capturing these fast-moving little creatures. Cannot choose a favourite - beautiful!
