Bird Strike!

There was an imprint of quite a large bird (blackbird perhaps?) on our kitchen window this morning....no 'body' so it either recovered or the sparrowhawk had it. This was very difficult to photo...I tried manual focus and fill-in flash but in the end this was the best of my attempts using multi-AF and solar lighting.

Sorry if the title gave Duane an uncomfortable moment.

Thanks for your comments - photographed more for the technical challenge than the artistic value....I tried not to include the window frame but that then sky lighted the imprint and made it very hard to see.

Nice picture, very difficult to capture indeed...
May be that the bird strike has been due to a... flight controllers strike?! :lol:
