Beautiful Sunday

This Sunday was a beautiful day full of sunshine, clear blue skies and warm temperature (about 15-20°C..something unbelievable at the end of February). Simply, an ideal day for some forest and hill walking. So I took my GRDII+GT1, my girlfriend borrowed her sister's dog, we called two our friends and went out to catch some sun rays. Here are some first processed photos. Hope you will enjoy them as we enjoyed this day! ;)

Yes, very interesting country side for Southern Hemisphere person. Lovely photos. Barbed wire in second pic looks very heavy, perhaps of military origin, and althought there is only one strand it still sends a clear message. Pitty that crusifix in pic four is in so much shadow, would have been interesting to see craftsmanship.

Thanks for comments Krris! Here is a cropped version of the cross, this time taken from different angle and with brightened shadows. B&W conversion allows more details to be seen. Too bad the small sensors does not have higher dynamic range.

Thanks for posting additional pic(s). Interesting juxtaposition of cross against power pillon. Crusified Christ figure appears to be metallic casting and not individually crafted - no doubt long history to private shrines!!. :|
