I like this image too. The declining focus, the rhythm of the arms, the simple colors, and of course the arm in the cast that is contrasting in color, to ballet, and is slightly out of rhythm. But most of all I like that the casted arm was not the first thing I saw in the picture, because (I think) the black / white pattern has higher contrast, and the arm is not at the 1/3. I also do think the picture is a bit provocing, which in my opinion competes with the idea of pattern and contrast, and I am not sure if that is good or bad.
