Nice and gritty B/W. Contrast and toning is good.
The first image has some real tension in it. The repetition of the bird statue on the pole to the figure of the bird in flight is good.
In some ways the tension comes from the birds head being out of the frame. I kinda like it that way. Odd but it seems to work.
In the second image I am pleased that you left the lower left side to black.
Of course the timing spot on to see the fleeting figure in the doorway. Also the shutter speed choice is great to see the movement.
A real Bresson decisive moment here.

The bird one was very tricky for me in the beginning due to the missing head but I ended up liking it more eventually.
The second one, I wouldn't use the name of Bresson on my photo, but yes, he was the clear motivation for me to wait for the right visual trail on the door. Also, I liked it as he was wearing a white shirt that works well on my BW processing.
