Congratulations indeed Andy :D ! A fantastic, well-composed picture - it has a wonderful artistic quality and mood, and is different from the usual type of pictures you would see in the dawn/dusk category. I find it hard to stop staring at it every time I look at it. I'm very happy for your well-deserved win ;) .

Thank you Pavel and thank you Athena!
It was very unexpected to win, as there was little sunshine and no dramatic skies during my August-long stay in Scotland. Then the starlings flew over one evening, circled around my head three or four times and then were gone. I did like the result though, but there were so many wonderful alternative 'real' dawn and dusk shots posted for the competition, I almost feel a fraud! ;)
But as this was my first outright win, I will accept the honour with a smile! :D
Cheers!
Andy
