Stunning looking cat. You can tell its angry because of it right front paw claws.

Sergey,

Wonderful photo, I like the way you have controlled the depth of field, very nice indeed :)

David

Thank you David! Yep, I'm enjoying wide aperture now - with the great sharpness and DOF less than 1 centimeter at f/2 this lens allows to produce some good portraits. :)

Very nice amber eyes. Good work with focus Sergey! I would only suggest to apply a bit of color NR. The color noise seems to be very apparent on black fur.

You're the second suggesting to reduce color noise, Pavel. Well, will do though it is seems to be not visible on all displays. On mine it looks OK, but it definitely there if you see it. ;)

I tawt I taw a puddy tat. Was it your intention that the background was the same colour as the cats eyes? or just luck?

I did!, I did taw a puddy tat!

Nobody asked about the breed of cat so I did a bit of research, can I assume the cat is a Scottish Fold? :?:

Hats like this one are this season's trend ;)

Yes the green goes well with the yellow eyes.I am sure your friend spent a lot of time in shops to find such a becoming chapeau. :D My cat would literally not sit still for a fitting. :?

No doubt she did spent lot of time, but these hours was not lost in a vain ;) She was in process of preparing to sleep so this time it was easy to catch her.
