Professional photographer of environmental subjects, nature, documentary and tourism/travel, as well as loads of other stuff, using large digital Canons, but I love the small compact cameras and have had great fun with the Canon G9 I bought instead of a GRD a few years back after loads of agonizing over which one. But I always fancied the Ricoh's so recently got a GR3 and I'm loving it. Being able to carry it in your shirt pocket and take really sharp pics (and with the f1.9 lens in really low light) is a great attraction. I love the discipline of the fixed 28mm and the astonishing depth of field on the small sensors can be used to great advantage, The image quality of the out-of-camera jpgs is great and its just such a nice camera to use!
