The tones are perfect, the light is well captured, but what confuses me a bit is the focusing distance. Did you focus on that trumpet?

Hi Peter, yes, focus is on the trumpet. At ISO 3000 - which is already on the critical side for the GXR - I was restricted to f1.4 with my 50mm equivalent lens.
