Comparing Macedonia and Albania, how would you describe the biggest difference between them?
Would it be something which you can see, or it is more on feelings when you travel and meet people?

Don't know if this is what interested you while in Albania, but it seems that Albania is more rustic ... Like parts of southern Italy. Is this true?

I think the Albanians are a couple of years behind (on many different ways)

@Spode: I do not know if the comparison with the south of italy is entirely correct. On the other hand Ohrid (Macedonia) also has some Italian atmosphere...
