Abandoned Stonefactory

In the centre of the Netherlands along the river Rhine is a small reservation with Konik horses and Galloways. It is a called "Blauwe Kamer" (Blue Room). It was an ideal area for stonefactories with all the available river sediment. This location is a beautiful location for photography. The following photos were made on February 9, 2008 with the Ricoh GX100.

I *love* abandoned buildings (especially factories), but have photographed very few of them. That's a nice looking spot, Wouter.

Thank you Kai. In November 2007 I was there also. It was very different weather though, cold, stormy, rainy.

Very nice series of photos! There is even a rainbow in the last one? Although it's lost in B&W it's there! Do you have this shot also in color?

Thank you odklizec! I almost always shoot RAW so I also have the colorversion. And your are right about the rainbow.
