#2 is really good, but #1 wins for me for that minimalist look.
I'd like a print of this on the wall.

The grey graduation in the sky is super!

Unusual name place : Xixsee

Lovely set Andy, the characteristic Seewinkel landscape in subtle shades of grey, the last stop of our honeymoon trip in the seventies ;)
Christian

#2 is my favorite - nothing like two people close together on a path to an unknown place, the light on the (vines?) is also lovely. Tried to blow up the pic to see if they are walking arm-in-arm, but hard to see.

Thanks for the feedback Tim: I love that grey graduation sky too! I am becoming to realist that less is so often more in photography... ;)
As for Xixsee, their are a number of unusual 'lake' names down there on the edge of the Hungarian plain: Kühbrunnlacke and Sechsmahdlacke to name two!

Hi Christian,
being used to the non-existent Scottish flatlands, such big landscapes require a little tuning of the eye...but they hold an empty beauty all of their own...an demand time and patience, just to watch the light change as the day unwinds...

Hi quester,
yes they are indeed vines...and no, the couple are not holding hands, just holding on to their Nordic walking poles as they march along!

Thanks Andy :D This crop is just as good as the original! Maybe you have mastered the art of fractal photography... ;)
