A New Toy

Dang Pete. That's one of then new fangled Silver Halide Acetate Roll cameras.
I'm looking forward to your images, thoughts and of course the comparison against the Sony RX100.

fits nicely in the pocket, unobtrusive for street candids.....and the shutter is so loud it is almost silent. What more do you need. Just shot a roll of 12 b&w.....3 of which were shot with the dark slide in place! that shouldn't happen. Got my light meter so away I go. Catch ya later.

This is one solid camera. Built like house brick, great manual focus. Wann to try some landscape with it soon.

cheers

Pete

Pete, the dark slide is for practice shooting. If your not 100% sure, leave it in....once you are committed, pull it out....
I am and should be 100% committed....you my friend are not far behind.

I called my friend in CT. He used one of those tanks for years. If he still has it, I'll try to get some stuff for you....

Congrats on the new acquisition.
I understand that even though its not a digital sensor, it still uses A digital (the right index finger) to take the image.

Dark slide ! See lens cap.
I lost count of the number of shots I took on my fuji 6x7 with the lens cap on !
Enjoy your new toy.

Congratulations! I intended to buy one of these but then went for a Mamyia 645 which is now sitting in some box. Maybe I really should give it a try again ...

Yes, the dark slide and manually advancing the film (and putting it into the camera the right side up ...), these were the times ...

Have fun,
wok
