Flowers and bugs, of course ;-)
Pavel, I tryed to post the original files but maybe they are too big for this forum. So I leave the links here.
As I have the option for not showing exif data on Flickr, I can send by e-mail any original file that you may be interested.
I’ve been “struggling” with GX200 macro because of DOF control. With R4 is more easy, not having control on aperture we get what can, without having more than zoom+EV comp+flash…
I know that I could have done better, particularly working with aperture. but all was done in a hurry while walking with my wife, and I can’t make her suffer more than she does already ;-)
Also, I still haven’t managed to fully understand GX200 settings. My fault then.
Here a few shots to illustrate some, hopefully more, good over bad points.
Taking advantage on the strong sun light:

With low light available, I prefer to use fill flash. With R4 I’m used to work with EV compensation to prevent blowing up the subject, but with GX200 its fantastic to have a good control on the flash output.

Considering the end of the flower season, I was lucky enough to find the last almond three flowers. It’s a beautiful season in the end of January in Algarve and Trás-os-Montes (Portuguese regions).

Bugs, why don’t they stop moving?
This caterpillar was moving around a wood stick in circles. Only at home I realized she was doing something more than circles, maybe building a cocoon…

But this was a bigger surprise. Tree of them going on circles. I was there for a few minutes and they didn’t stop!
