Great repetition of the tree line in this one. Slight distraction on the left and right of the frame with the house -left, and the tree sticks - right. Still a wonderful "snowscape" ? I seem to be seeing a lot of these snow images, which is a great help to cool me down as it will hit 41c today and 43c tomorrow.

Nice shot, ,ight work well in B&W.

Did you use DR mode?

Tim, -8c here in Staffordshire last night, currently -2c [3.00 p.m] and snowing, I'll swap you a bucket of heat for some cold

Thanks for the comments guys, i love this time of year, when it snows it can be like another world.
David- didn't use DR mode and i like it in B&W also.
Thelps- i must admit that i didn't really notice until you pointed them out! now sticking out like a sore thumb!! thank you :D that will help me to look at the "all" of picture in future. And i think i would melt in your temperatures!
Many thanks for all of your comments.
bailey.

Ummmm.... I see no picture. Many forums I open up and say there are no messages in the threads. Am I missing something? Did a board setting go awry for me? Is there something I can do to fix it?

I'm using a Macintosh, and OS 10.6.2, the latest. For instance, take Sally's topic Infinity Bridge. I can see there are several pages of comments from the forum list of topics, and I remember how the photo looked. But now when I click on the title of the topic, all that comes up is the last comment by reddevil1909. No photo, no other comments.

Seems to be fixed now

UPDATE: I deleted all board cookies, and that solved the problem. I also found the user control panel. So, now I've updated some settings and even uploaded an avatar - I'll get used to this board yet!

Good to hear that! Cleaning cache and temp files often helps. It's the same on all operating systems ;) I too use OSX but I'm on Firefox browser. Safari is fast, but does not support some of my required extensions to block adds and flash ;)
