Hi, I'm new me. I've just bought a GX100 & I'm very much a beginner Here's one of my first shots with my new toy. The picture is 1280x800 because I used it as my wallpaper, but lost the original image file :roll:

Nice, interesting photo. Don't worry about being new, just give yourself a well earned pat on the back for your first post and enjoy your new 'toy'. I hope we will see many more. This forum is a brilliant place to learn - everything I have learnt about photography comes from generous people here.

Thanks Chris. As you have mentioned there is a wealth of wisom here & I've already learnt alot just reading a handful of the posts on this forum. I hope to post more photo's in the future when I can realise the full potential of my new Ricoh
