Really lovely Richard.
Things have been unusually cold over here this last week as well - which means we've actually seen a bit of frost in the mornings...
Is that bluish tinge in the photo faithful to what your eyes saw? I've forgotten what snow-scenes really look like...

Thanks quester. Our eyes/brains adapt to colour casts so we don't really see them. I tried for an accurate white balance and with the overcast I think the blue tinge is right...but what is right? What you see and what you expect might not be the same. If it gives you a shiver I'm happy...if you know what I mean.

It definitely is not one of those welcoming warm winter shots luring for jumping around like kids but rather a kind of frozen blue hell (exaggerating naturally ).
